8 Years of Motherhood

Here I present you, the award from myself to myself as a mother.

So cheesy am I right?

But i seriously think, this year, I should also reward myself for trying and trying. For another study, another hustle. Another work.

You too! If you are a mom, this award goes to you too. The annual excellent award. To reward your hard works, your tears, your sweats, and all that jazz.

All we want is just the very best for our children, sometimes we forgot ourself. That is why I posted earlier, how important it is to take care of yourself first.

I was almost or maybe I was really sick i could not stand. And when i went to the clinic, my son looked so worry. He hates seeing me sick, cause he knows, he will be by himself doing all of the things.

But you know what, thats ok right? Its ok to not cook for a day, to just rest or sleep throu the day to fully rest your body and mind. Because if Mom is sick, Most probably the boat is sink-ing (pun intended)😂

So yeah, 25 October 2018 marks the 8 years of MY Motherhood. and more years to come with….I have no idea. All i care now is I sleep well, I eat well, I work well, and…Shop well to take care my self well!

Motherhood came without manual, day offs, or salary. But to that, I should thank my son for making me smarter and better everyday at something. And I can honestly speak, I love every second being a mother to my son. I wont trade it with anything else. Dont get me wrong, i’d love to have another one.

So my speech for this award would be

I thank my husband for making me a mother (ddooooh😂) and My son for choosing me as your mom.

What I think about NovAge Skin Protector

A few Months ago I decided top purchase NovAge DayShield SPF 50 UVA/PA++++ as a replacement for my Yves Rocher Sun Protection that has been with me for a while. Since the nearest, Yves Rocher store was officially closed last month, and they do not have any stock for this sun protection products at any store in Jakarta. I decided to switch to NovAge.

This Sun Protection also came in a very compact size. In which basically I love it so much. It Has a very light texture, non-greasy, non-sticky. However, I’m not sure if it’s waterproof.

I get to notice my face is brighter, and have more glow. not that I’m trying to brag about this product but I seriously like it. The light feels after I apply it to my skin helps me to put on my make up easily and still I don’t feel like I’m using layers of cream.

If you wonder about any side effect, I personally did not experience any but a nice glowy look.

Exploring Thousand Island in Two Days

Hi Semua,

Kali ini aku mau share sedikit mengenai Weekend Trip ke Kepulauan Seribu Jakarta. Apa sih yang special sampai aku perlu banget bahas di Blog aku?

It’s special because i brought my 8 years old son along. Exploring the island, the sea.

Lalu juga, akan aku share mengenai cara cara dan agen yang aku gunakan untuk trip kesana.

Ok, jadi dalam rangka apa sebenarnya aku tiba tiba pergi ke Kepulauan Seribu?

Long Story short, i’m in a burned up Stage of life. Work, life lumayan agak sedikit hectic ya. Karena aku jujur banget, ya memang a short getaway hopefully will ease the fatique.

Dan kebetulan Bulan September ini, ku ga punya weekend free lagi. Karena harus kerja, ada satu makhluk kecil yang butuh aku juga. Jadi aku ijinkan dia untuk join trip ini.

Jujur, aku khawatir bawa Haka ke laut. Aku juga tidak sempat googling, is it ok or how early a child could swim in the middle of the sea?

But i trust God. Everything will be ok. My intention is to bring him as close as it could to the Nature.

Destinasi Kita adalah Pulau Harapan, yang dimana sebenarnya merupakan Pulau Penduduk. Bukan resort. Bukan Pulau Pribadi. Namun, dari Paket Trip ini, kita banyak di Island Hoping untuk Snorkeling dan Main di White Sandy Beaches.

Tanggal 8 September 2018, kita berangkat dari Dermaga 16 Marina Ancol. Menggunakan Ferry Boat yang cukup nyaman sekali ya menurutku. Keberangkatan agak molor sih aku bilang, karena kita diminta stand by pukul 07:00. Namun, baru dipanggil naik kapal sekitar pukul 08:00. Dan kapal berangkat sekitar pukul, 08:23. Entah apa alasannya, ya namanya public transport pasti begitu.

Btw, perjalanan Dari Ancol ke Pulau Harapan agak lama karena kita mampir mampir dulu nih. Salah satunya mampir di Pulau Kali Gae milik Surya Paloh

Sampai di Pulau Harapan, sekitar Pukul 10 kurang. Matahari sudah cukup panas. FYI.,pulau Harapan itu pulau terakhir. Alias paling pojok. Jangan heran kalau jauh yah.

Sesampai Di Pulau Harapan, jujur aku agak kaget. Ko Pulau Penduduk ya? Ga ada pantai Bersih, ga ada laut dangkal. Adanya cuma rumah, dermaga dan kapal kayu.

Kami disambut oleh Tour Guide bernama Doni. Ramah sekali. Dan terlihat sangat santai. Dia menjelaskan, bahwa memang pulau Harapan itu tidak ada apa apa, hanya Homestay tempat kami menginap saja. Nah, island hoping nya lah adventure sesungguhnya. Berbeda kalau kami menginap di Pulau Pari atau Pramuka. Karena agak sedikit jauh dari pulau Tongkeng, Bintang, Dolphin dan Perak, agak sukar untuk mengejar keliling pulaunya. Sehingga mostly dihabiskan di pantai pulau itu saja .

Homestay tempat aku menginap itu semacam rumah penduduk yang ukurannya mungkin hanya 6x7m , 2 kamar tidur full ac dengan queen size bed loh. Kamar mandi dan toilet terpisah, airnya masih air asin ya alias air payau. Kalau kalian mau pakai air bersih, bisa beli galon:) heheehheheh Makanan sudah tersedia, nikmat banget bisa makan masakan rumahan.

Selepas bebenah dan istirahat sebentar, Pukul 12:00 kami memulai perjalanan Island Hoping dengan perahu Kayu. Lokasi pertama adalah Pulau Tongkeng. Pulau Tongkeng ini, jarak dari pantainya aga jauh sih. Tapi pemandangan bawah lautnya bagus. Ya buat aku yang amatiran baru kali ketiga snorkeling sih indah ya. Mungkin yang sudah kalem kalem masuk ke jalur SELAM, biasa biasa aja. Tapi untuk HAKA, ini luar biasa. Pengalaman sesungguhnya ya.

Dari Pulau Tongkeng, kami beralih ke Pulau Bintang. Snorkeling disini, Ikannya lebih rame dan sibuk, namun kelihatan banget lautnya lebih dalam . Hanya kok aku lebih tenang aja bawaannya main disini. Haka lebih enjoy main sama Ikan ikan. Kalau lihat videonya itu Haka bukan bawa sampah ya, tapi bungkus roti yang isi rotinya dibagikan ke ikan ikan. Aku juga bingung, ikan kok doyan roti ya?

Beres dari Pulau Bintang, kami singgah ke Pulau Doplhin. Dimana wisatawan lain juga singgah santai disini. Main floaties yang sudah disediakan, main di air yang jernih. Makan indomie dan minum air kelapa fresh dari batoknya. Pulau Dolphin ini dikelola oleh ANCOL, kondisinya sangat bersih dan terawat. Bagus banget buat santai santai.

Setelah dari Pulau Dolphin, seharusnya kita menuju Pulau Bulat atau Pulau Bira untuk lihat SUNSET. Sayangnya, si matahari sembunyi terus dibalik awan awan. Jadi moment untuk capturenya sukar. Karena sudah hampir gelap, diputuskan untuk kembali ke Pulau Harapan.

Di Pulau Harapan kami menghabiskan malam dengan BBQ yang sudah disediakan, ikannya ikan TONGKOL dan Tenggiri yang BESAR BESAR. Suasanan malam di Pulau Harapan menyenangkan sekali, karena aku pribadi suka banget Village Life yang jauh dari hectic, macet, mall dan pergaulan yang absurd, ini tempat yang pas banget untuk menghabiskan waktu dan istirahat. Jujur aku nyaman bangetlah disini. Dimana masih melihat anak anak main dengan bebasnya di jalanan, di lapangan, tanpa ada rasa takut. Jajanan kaki lima berjejer di pinggiran, penduduk ramah ramah dan helpfull banget.What a great Weekend it was!

Lanjut ke Sunday Activitiesnya.

Pagi pagi, aku bangun untuk lihat SUNRISE didermaga, mataharinya masih malu malu banget. Sulit buat di capture.

Pagi di pulau sejuk dan panas juga sih, entah kenapa. Tapi sunyi dan nyaman banget suasananya.

Perjalanan kami mulai pukul 08:00, tujuannya Pulau Sepa dulu. Di Pulau Sepa ini, sebenarnya terdapat resort sendiri. Obyek Wisatanya hanya laut dangkal bersih dan pasir putih. Selebihnya, Dermaga yang instagramable. Hehehehhe

Dari Pulau Sepa kami beralih ke Pulau Gosong. Apa itu Pulau Gosong?

Pulau Gosong dibawah ini mungkin ukurannya cuma 5x100m. Mungkin ya. Kecil sekali. Pastinya tidak berpenghuni. Karena Pulau ini hanya muncul ke permukaan sesekali. Jika air laut sedang surut. Seiring waktu, pasir dan batu yang dibawa arus membentuk gundukan daratan yang akhirnya disebut Pulau Gosong. Lucky for us, we were there first. So we enjoyed it much.

Nah, selesaai dari Pulau Gosong, kami dibawa menuju spot terakhir yang memang tagya “SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST”

Pulau Perak as below

Pulau Perak ini memiliki pasir putih yang sangat lembut. Air yang dangkal dan super jernih dan bening. Aduh ampunn speechless. Maklum ya, aku anak air sukanya yang bersih dan jernih. Jadi bisa dinikmati. Pulau ini bersih juga dari sampah sampah, aku kagum banget dengan pengelolanya. Pastinya pengunjung yang juga sama sama menjaga ya. Definetly worth to visit.

Selesai dari Pulau Perak, perjalanan berakhir dengan kembali ke Pulau Harapan untuk Makan siang dan packing pulang ke Ancol. Aku ga bilang ke Jakarta, karena kepulauan Seribu ini termasuk Jakarta juga sih. Hehehhe.

  1. Edukasi anak mengenai destinasi ini. What to expect, apa yang harus dihindari. Aku ajari Haka bahwa bulu babi itu banyak dan bahaya. Sehingga dia bisa mengenali dan menghindari
  2. Bawa Handuk dan Selimut karena tidak disediakan
  3. Tidak usah bawa terlalu banyak barang disaat island hoping. Dokumentasi sudah disediakan, dan hasilnya cukup memuaskan.
  4. Dont expect a 5 stars service di penginapan, ini area penduduk. Rumah penduduk, dimana sangat sederhana. Buat aku ini menyenangkan, no complaint at all.
  5. Wear lots of sunscreen, karena terik banget.
  6. Berangkat trip usahakan pagi, karena kalau kesiangan, area area lokasi sudah ramai
  7. Aku sarankan ambil paket Private Trip kalau kalian ga mau repot kejar kejaran waktu.

Hair Loss Help with Yves Rocher (2)

Hello again!

Iv’e been noticing that Hair Loss Therapy Post is the top post being read and viewed.

Here’s a second post on my second purchase. Fact : This was the last stock they had. Turned out, they only sell 10 stocks, and it sold out really fast

I have my hair permed earlier this month, and my problem is pretty serious this time.. Thou i experienced huge improvement on my first purchase, i seriously curious will this time it helps me stop my hair from falling due to the permed condition.

But i will do a another journal and review after this post.

I just want to share you, what you will get and how to use these ampule.

As i have mentioned before, the packaging mentioned that its better to repeat the theraphy two to three times a year. I my self, will try again for 1 month and see if it does make a better result.

One box you’ll receive 4 Small Ampules.

One Ampule is for ONE WEEK application. Apply it every two days. I prefer night time, and normally i’d wrap my hair until morning so my scalp could absorb it better. I Hope:)

You can just follow the White Stripes guide for one time application. Make sure you keep the plastik cap, and cover the lid after use.

What you will notice maybe, in a week, less hair falls. It happened on my first purchase. And i have more volume in it.

Another thing you might wanna do, in between two days is applying ALOE Vera Gel (make sure it The Purest), to your scalp or the problem area. I noticed a big different already using aloe vera gel every night.

Do you need to buy extra stock for this ampule? Yes. Because you need to repeat the therapy somehow, so why not. Since in Jakarta, it sold out most of the time.

Another suggestion to help you reducing hair falls is to always apply conditioner. Especially if you’re hair went thru many processed such as permed, smoothing, coloured or bleached.

I will choose my own music, my own program, wear the best comfortable workout gear, and have fun for my self. I really don’t think about other thing or people when my headphones are on. The music drives me to my challenge. The sweat that comes after, will be the best stress release point for me.

Warm Up 5 minutes

  • with A Dance Video in YouTube, or Just dance to your own Tune. I’ll go with “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” or “Can’t Stop This Feeling”
  • JOG outside for 5minutes or until you’re feeling warm enough

lower body Exercise 5 minutes

  • Squats in full range for 3 rounds
  • Lunges in full range – Alt R&L for 3 Rounds
  • Each Round try to do a full range, 12x

Upper Body Exercise 5 minutes

  • Wall Push Ups for Beginner 12times for 3 rounds
  • Bicep Curl with Water Bottle or a 5lbs dumbells. 12times repeat for 3 rounds

Core Exercise 3 minutes

  • Hold plank for 1 minutes, repeat 3 times

Finisher: Stretch for 2 minutes

It is the final hair rinse in your hair cleaning ritual. It works best to clarify your hair and removes products build up. It helps you with scalps problems, such as dandruff. Ok, kalau yang ini aku sudah bahas di postingan sebelumnya ya. Kenapa aku pakai ini. Dan sebenarnya, produk ini bukan hanya untuk wanita, tapi juga untuk pria.

Aku sampai saat ini belum ada kepikiran mau mengganti skincare ke brand lain lagi, atau Oriflame jenis lain. Karena cocok banget pakai si True Perfection, pengen banget maintain terus dengan produk dari Novage Series ini.

Nah kalau ini, aku beli karena menurut Oriflame, bahan yang mereka pakai itu berdasarkan Almond Milk. Jadi lembut di kulit , terutama mereka yang punya kulit sensitive. Jujur aja, aku rada senewen pas beli ini. Ku takut alergi dan busikan lagi. Tapi ternyata sampai saat ini, keluhan itu ga terjadi. Nilai plus dari Loving Care series ini, karena bahan dasarnya Almond Milk plus Pumpkin Seed Oil.

aman digunakan untuk anak diusia 3 tahun ke atas ya. Wanginya lembut sekali, tidak menyengat. Very soft. Dan teksturnya juga lembut banget.

Untuk dirumah, yang dipakai adalah BodyWash dan 2in1 Shampoonya. Karena wanginya itu ringan sekali, dan sebenarnya lebih condong ke almond milk nya, jadi penggunaannya ga dominan ke wanita atau anak anak ya. Karena biasanya kan produk produk kecantikan wanita atau anak wanginya dominan ke bunga atau buah buahan.

Ya jadi diatas itu beberapa Review Pendek dari Oriflame. Semua produk ini sama seperti produk lain yang sudah aku review sebelumnya. Aku pakai, ada effect yang baik, so to me its worth the price 🙂 Disisi lain, karena semuanya fungsional, bisa digunakan siapa saja dirumah. Aku ga perlu beli bermacam macam produk kemana mana. i feel better. my skin is never been this healthier, I’ve been sick free for almost 6 months. When i normally being sick While having my PMS. That will include a chronic Sinusitis and Cramps.

This which i believe, because plant based diet is full of fiber that help flush out toxins, keep foods digesting properly.

I could run faster, i could rest better and my digestion, oh well what can i say, way way better.

This i write, without any judgement to non vegans. It’s just something i want people to understand that veganism does a body good. And its very worth to keep on doing.

I had this amazing experience buying a local product from Jogjakarta, Indonesia.

A big fan of handbags, thats me. But my bags should be functional. It should be able to accompany me in the gym, and work, meetings:) I know i’ve tried to keep my frugal living. But this Dhairya bag, is a must have.

I have been viewing their products and considering on buying it. Just a thought of consideration with budget and the question ” do i really need to have one?”

What makes them worth to have?

their simple design. That’s for sure. The fabric they use is a high quality water resistant canvas. They came in 4 types : Fergie, Jennifer, Wanda and Scarlet. I was actually wanting to have the scarlet type, until i saw them posting a model using Fergie and i think that will suit my everyday style. In which casual. And the size is pretty compact. Not to big, not to mini.

But one thing you need to be assured of, is, they sold out really fast. So stay update by following their instagram post. I knew mine was restocked because their admin replied me on my comment on Ig.

That was Tuesday, i ordered via Line Messenger, they responded really fast and detail. I made the payment, and informed them at the same time. They told me that it might take 2-3 days to ship. It was Thursday. I said i’m ok with it.

After payment, i received a text message that probably work as the e-receipt. I thought. Wow. It’s so professional.

On Saturday Noon, I received the bag at home. Another satisfying experience right?

I ranked this Product 5 stars indeed. I still wear the bag everyday, it is just light, compact and since its black, i can use them anytime. anywhere and match my outfits in many ways.

Your Attitude is Your Resume

Sounds familiar? Maybe there will be some disagreements about this post, but to me personally, this is how I feel at work.

This topic is one of the most shared in the WhatsApp groups. I have no idea why. There’s this saying – let’s teach our children to have more manners when postings in social media cause it will somehow affect their future. When they’re trying to apply for scholarships, applying for jobs, the company will do not only a background check and also social check.

Oh here’s the thing. Social Media, is a huge worldwide community that contains everyone’s personal, professional life. Unexceptional. People use it in many ways. To share their happy life, sad life, depressions, to sell them self, to provoke, go ahead and mention more. And its no longer a secret that the people we connect and befriend with on Facebook, Twitter, are mostly the people we see every day in real life. And with that, we can actually tell and recognize their actual life, attitude, characters. Without the need to stalk their accounts, if we want too.

So what the fuss about company, scholarships etc? Do they really do some check?

Yes, they will. But to me, what’s more important is, a person’s attitude. Their performance, their characters at work.

Their achievements do matter, but seriously, who would want to hire a person who gives a bad attitude at work and not making or giving any benefit to the company. But how about a person who has a bad attitude but has the highest performance and achievements base on their resume? It is totally up to the company. What is their value? What is their mission? But at my workplace, we discuss, we look to their attitude, their characters. How they deal with people at work, with members, their integrity. Not just a superstar person or a good looking best-selling face. And yeah, they could be either an INSTAGRAM sweetest man or woman or maybe they’re just a person who loves to share their bad times, bad mouth. Hold it! The most famous business -entrepreneurs, influencers, also did that “trashy” post. But that doesn’t mean they couldn’t work professionally. An image is important, it does, but characters and attitude matters.

So if you ask me, as a person who also dealt with recruits and auditions, I never check they’re social media to tell me whether or not I should hire them or let them sign in. I’d go for their attitudes, their performance. Since I’m not a God, who am I to judge a person from their social media posts?

But I do know thou, that for some viewers, what we share is who we are. And I’m not in a place to disagree with that. I just won’t let my decisions based on what I see on Social Media:) And people change, we all can change. But characters will stick with us in many situations. And that is something to study from someone at work.
